Senior Portrait Rates Overview

The hard part, the uncomfortable part, the expensive part... Talking about the cost of portraits.  You probably came here first to see if you could afford our services.  Pretty sure you can.  We have found that most people have a clear picture what they want to pay and we want to honor that decision.

The costs of portraits can be divided into three groupings of decisions. Setting expectations that impact the cost of your portraits

  1. First group of decisions are related to the portrait session itself. The location (or locations) where you have your portrait made.

    1. How long do you want the session to be?

    2. How many locations do you want to shoot at?

    3. How many outfits do you want to to change into?

  2. Second group of decision are related to the amount of and types of portrait editing. Our job is to make you look great and you can expect that we will deliver a set of beautiful images. We work on each image we give to you.

    1. How many photos do you want delivered to you after the session?

    2. How much retouching do you want done?

    3. Do you want any special effects?

  3. Third group of decisions are about the types and quantities of the pictures. We use a professional photographic image print company that offers a huge variety of products. We do this because we know the quality of the prints are better. You can see and feel the difference in the prints. Most important, our printer uses archival papers and inks so that your portraits will last.

    1. What do you want printed to give to friends and family?

    2. How many copies do you want printed?

    3. What if I want something non-standard?

The purpose of this pages is to give you information about your portraits. We know that every portrait we make is unique. In an effort to simplify the process, we identified three standard portrait packages. We wanted to give you a general idea of what you get and explain what you can expect to spend for each package. If these packages don’t fit your vision, give us a call and we can work something out.
